At Eastern Stoma Care, we can assist you in accessing these Medicare-funded schemes to ensure your monthly supply needs are consistently met. Annual reviews with a stoma nurse are now recommended to help you evaluate and select the most suitable pouching system for your lifestyle and clinical needs. With ongoing advancements in stoma care products, we can support you in trialling new or improved equipment and ensure your ongoing supplies are managed efficiently and effectively.

We are located in the Outer Eastern region of Melbourne. We can provide consults anywhere in Melbourne. We can negotiate care delivery into the regional areas of Victoria if required. Telehealth services and external referrals to other providers, can also be considered to those in areas we cannot accommodate - please just ask.
We accept all levels of funding. We have the approval to provide nusing consultant visits for all services- TAC, NDIS, Workcover, Nursing Homes, Residential Care, L3 and 4 Home Care packages and Private funders. We will seek approval and arrange the service agreement / funding for your visits on behlaf of your Case manager / Service provider so you dont have to worry.

There are many different types of stomas. Depending on the type of stoma you have depends on the appropriate management. We can help with both fecal and urinary diversions such as colostomies, ileostomies, urostomies and ileal conduits as well as gastrostomy (PEG) and Nephrostomy (PNT) tubes. We will work with you to find a pouching / tube or drainage system that works for you.
